Privacy Policy
Last updated September 14, 2026
The short version. We collect what you choose to send us through a form or email, and the basic technical information any website needs to run. We use it to respond to you and follow up on what you asked about. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking. Analytics cookies load only if you accept them.
This policy explains how SignalCraft Strategies, LLC (“SignalCraft,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through signalcraftstrategies.com (the “site”). It does not cover information exchanged during a client engagement, which is governed by that engagement’s written agreement.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a Growth Signal Audit, or submit the form on the Growth Scorecard or the hiring cost calculator, we collect:
- Contact details: your name and email address, and your company name if you provide it.
- What you tell us: what is prompting your inquiry and how you heard about SignalCraft, if you answer those questions.
- Your tool results: your Growth Scorecard answers and scores, or the figures you entered in the hiring cost calculator, so the written review reflects your situation.
- Context: the page you submitted the form from and the time of submission.
The scorecard and calculator run in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere unless you submit the form.
If you email us or book a call, we receive whatever you include in that message or booking.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, including IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. This is used to operate and secure the site.
- Analytics, with your consent. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, including whether you submitted a form, clicked to book a call, or tapped to phone us. It does not receive what you type into a form. See Cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and send the review or information you asked for.
- To prepare for and follow up on a conversation you have requested.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the site, including filtering spam submissions.
- With your consent, to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list or automated email sequence without asking first.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and the business. They process information on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Google (Google Workspace). Form submissions are received by a Google Apps Script, stored in a Google Sheet, and sent to us by email.
- Google (Google Analytics). Measures site usage, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Vercel. Hosts the site and keeps its server logs.
- Calendly. If you book a call through our Calendly link, Calendly collects the details you enter under its own privacy notice.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or to a successor if the business is sold or reorganized, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
Cookies and similar technologies
Analytics cookies are off until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Decline, or never choose, they do not load. You can change your choice at any time with (also in the site footer).
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sc_consent | SignalCraft (browser storage, not a cookie) | Remembers your Accept or Decline choice. Strictly necessary. | 12 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics, only if you accept | Distinguishes visitors to measure site usage. | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics, only if you accept | Keeps track of a visit (session). | Up to 2 years |
Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a request to opt out. Analytics do not load and the cookie banner is not shown. You can still opt in on purpose through Cookie Preferences.
Tracking across other websites
We do not use advertising or retargeting tools. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics measures your activity on this site; Google’s own use of that data is described in the link above.
Reviewing, correcting, or deleting your information
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you,
- correct anything that is inaccurate, or
- delete it.
Email info@signalcraftstrategies.com from the address you used with us, or tell us how to confirm the request is yours. We respond within 30 days. We may keep information we are legally required to retain, such as billing records, and we will tell you if that applies. Making a request will never affect how we treat you.
California residents: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as there is a potential or active working relationship, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. You can ask us to delete it sooner. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider under its standard retention schedule.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to submitted information is limited to SignalCraft and the service providers listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Children
The site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
The site links to other services, such as Calendly and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will note it at the top of this page before it takes effect, and email you if we have your address and the change affects you directly.
